Webinar: Scenarios for deep decarbonisation of the EU industry
Highlighting technological innovation, addressing systemic change
In the EU and its Member States, the aim is to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases up to a minimum and to use energy more efficiently. Decarbonisation of industry plays a key role in reaching this goal.
This webinar presented findings from two projects on strategies to reach ambitious low-emission levels in European industry. We looked at technological solutions, but also on strategies such as reduction of demand and increased rates of recycling. The webinar was organised by Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI (Fraunhofer-ISI) in cooperation with Association negaWatt (France).
The webinar took place on 26 November 2018.
