Webinar: District heating in decarbonising economies.

In the EU and in Denmark, the aim is to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and to use energy more efficiently. District heating and combined heat and power have significant potential with regard to achieving this aim.

This webinar presented a number of key topics connected to a role that the district heating plays in achieving decarbonisation of economies and energy systems and discussed number of possible developments to achieve district heating's full potential in this regard. Led by Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI (Fraunhofer-ISI), the webinar uses Denmark as a case study.
